Following its growth strategy, HBD will reinforce its Construction team through the integration of a Junior Architect.

Main Job Specifications:
 Performs design computations, compiles data, and completes elementary architectural assignments
 Discuss the objectives, requirements and budget of a project
 Produce detailed workings, drawings and specifications
 Specifies the nature and quality of required materials
 Prepares applications for planning and building control departments
 Project managing and helping to coordinate the work of contractors
 Regular site visits to check on progress, ensuring that the project is running on time and on budget
 Resolve problems and issues that arise during construction
 Ensure that the environmental impact of the project is managed and diminished

Candidate’s Profile:
 Degree in Architecture
 No experience or maximum of 2 years experience in a similar position
 Good knowledge of AutoCad Software
 The ability to manage time effectively and to meet deadlines
 Willingness and proactiveness to resolve problems when they arise
 Capable and willing to work long hours, both in the office and on-site
 The ability to thrive in pressured or stressful situations
 Availability and interest in living in an African Country
