MODU New Builds group (MNB), a project group responsible for development and project management for Mobile Offshore Drilling Units New build program, has currently a high workload with studies for customized design development and technical support/contract follow up of rig new builds for operation in NCS waters.

Task Responsabilities and Competence requirements::

- Will be responsible for follow up, supervise and report all engineering activities for “Black and White” discipline including document control system during the project phase.
- Black discipline include:
- Structural
- Mechanical
- HVAC
- Piping & Process
- Architectural
- Lifesaving equipment
- Escape routes (including Lifeboats and Helideck)
- White disciplines include:
- Electrical
- Instrument and Telecom (including Power generation and UPS)
- Fire & Gas
- VMS
- Drillers control system
- Report to Project manager
- University degree and a minimum of 10 years relevant experience.

Language:
- English (written and spoken)

Workplace:
- First 2-3 months: Onshore Stavanger
- Rest of the assignment: South Korea (Onshore)

Contract Period:
- Start: ASAP
- End: 31.01.2015
- Option period: 2 x 6 Months

Special Conditions:
- Home travel frequency is based on 4 home travels per year, in addition to mob./demob. travel.
- 8 weeks holiday in total, 44 weeks working time.
- 10 working hours per day (1 hour lunch time included in the working hours).
- Overtime is expected
