OUR CLIENT

Our client is a Belgian-based company specialized with strong expertise in (civil) construction. With a team of over 300 specialists they offer independent advice and services (audits, certification, inspections,…) for complex projects. This growing company has the ambition to further extend their international scope and is therefore looking to expand their international department.

In this role you will have both technical and commercial responsibilities. As a technical expert in construction risks you will offer support and advice in construction projects. On a commercial level you will assist in the further expansion of the international activities of our client.

FUNCTION

• As a technical project manager you will be involved in complex projects for international clients. This involves calculations, reporting, contacts with clients and other parties. It is important to have a good background in the assessment of civil construction risks.
• In order to further expand the international presence of the company, you will participate in the business developments within some specific areas. Your contacts and technical expertise allow you to generate commercial opportunities.
• In this role you will report to the Manager of the International Department. For complex projects you can count on the support of a strong team of experts in the Brussels headquarter.

PROFILE
• Master degree in civil engineer with +10 years of experience in an engineering company/department
• Fluent in English. Knowledge of other languages is an asset.
• Strong technical expertise: design, calculations, certification
• Willing to travel (up to 40%). An additional presence in the headquarter in Brussels will be required (20-30%)
• Commercial attitude
• Experience in marine works (eg. dams, quay walls)
