Mr. Dreznes assumed his current position of Executive Vice President of the International Road Federation (IRF) Washington in February 2012. Dreznes has spent the last 26 years working to make the roads safer around the world. He is recognized as one of the world's leading experts on roadside safety promoting the concept of "Forgiving Highways" and has conducted multiple road safety training seminars in more than 50 countries around the world.
Featured Speaker - José Luiz Fuzaro Rodrigues
Mr. Fuzaro is a Highway Safety Engineer at DER-Campinas and earned a Master's Degree in Transportation with an emphasis in Road Safety Audits from Unicamp, Brazil. His expertise lies in the field of highway safety and he has done additional studies at Lund University in Sweden, and holds an MBA in Management from FGV/OHIO University, Brazil/USA.
Mr. Fuzaro is a recognized expert in his field and has 29 years of work experience in Brazil, the United States and Africa as a consulting engineer for road safety programs, technology transfers,
highway safety education and road signage courses.
He is also a member of the Brazilian Association of Technical Norms' (ABNT) committees on Road Safety Research, as well as Horizontal and Vertical Signage.
